Sterling Ceramics began its life in 1979, and Neil started working there in 1980. In 2005 Neil teamed up with Geoff Halligan to buy out the current owners and the new Sterling Ceramics was founded.
They set about working on their plans, the culmination of which you are experiencing in the range of services that you now have on offer from Sterling Ceramics.
Today Sterling Ceramics employs eleven people, including five registered technicians and a soon to qualify trainee, a model maker, and additional support staff including three drivers that make daily deliveries. Sterling Ceramics employees are capable and industrious and the lab is able to attract the best technicians because of its friendly and progressive working environment. The laboratory holds Platinum Approved status with Straumann and, as a member of the Dental Laboratory Association (DLA), has completed the Dental Appliance Manufacturers Audit Scheme (DAMAS) accreditation, which ensures that Sterling Ceramics products conform to national standards and current legislation.
The skilled team at Sterling Ceramics are all General Dental Council (GDC) registered and can just as easily be working on standard NHS crown and bridge work or “top end” implants…..the versatility and attention to detail is impressive. The proof of the team, and the consistent quality of their work, is in the loyalty of our Surgeons, many of whom have been with us for the lifetime of Sterling Ceramics. Communication with them is key, and much of this is on a one to one basis. We do also offer local pick ups on a daily basis covering the West Midlands, as well as FREE postal services for our further flung surgeons.
